Private lessons are given three times a month (36 lessons / year ).
Students are of diverse background, from children to old people and they
are enjoying to learn at their own pace.
You can join an annual concerts held by Miono-kai voluntarily.
Various people participate
in the concerts; they are those who like to have a break beside their own study
or work, who devote themselves in performing individually, who take a part in volunteer
activity of Koto and so on.

Baby-sitter service
Good news for mothers with small children and having problems to go out
for koto or shamisen lessons.
Miono-kai in Takanawa has started to offer baby-sitter service.
Baby-sitters will take care of your children.
This service is available for babies and kindergarden children.
Reasonable price for each service(around 1,000 yen per one hour) and reservation
is required.

Free lessons for dressing Kimono
‘ Learning to play koto/shamisen, I like to
dress kimono costume by my self.’
For members, Miono-kai offers free kimono lessons around twice a year.
Some members thanked,‘ I had played on the stage dressed in kimono.
Now I can go out dressing in kimono.’
